Jackson's Presents

Jackson got little cars and tractors/mighty machines for one of his gifts.

He took his toy animals into the kitchen. I'm not why, but he carried them in there one by one and had a great time.

He also got a round house for his wooden trains. For now it is a garage of some sort for all things.

Despite getting him the round house, he still prefers to put his trucks into Emma's "girlie" houses.

Emma's Presents

Without having seen the movie, Emma is a huge Tinker Bell fan. There were a few T.B. things for her to fancy her room up with.

A princess phone. This was her reaction when it said, " Hello, Little Princess"

She also got a dress-up trunk. She played "going to a wedding" for the next couple of hours!

Christmas Morning

Yes, I am behind on my blogging. But I am really not motivated to organize the thousand pictures from Christmas. Really I don't have time. Also, we started the year off with the stomach flu and it has been hard getting back into routine. So, here are Emma and Jackson before the presents were opened.

Train and Toronto

On Greg's first day of Christmas vacation we headed downtown on the Go train to see the Christmas lights and decorations.
Greg, Emma and Jackson waiting for the train.
Here we are on the train.
Here is one of the big Christmas trees in the Eaton Centre. It was a good day and we think we will make it part of our Christmas traditions every year.

Play Day

On one of the cold days, we went to one of the indoor play places nearby. Emma loves the jumping gym and "Star" the pony. Jackson just wanted to be territorial and let everyone know he should have rights to everything, whenever he wanted it (especially the firetrucks).

Snow Helper

Since Jackson isn't a big fan of the snow yet, Emma and I go to work shoveling while he is sleeping. We haven't had a lot of snow, but when we do, Emma loves it! Right now it's freezing - - too cold to even snow.

December 13th

This day happened to be my birthday. It started with Emma's Sunday School class singing Christmas songs in the "big" church. She did a great job and looked beautiful in her dress!
Then to Grandma and Gramp's for my birthday dinner.
And that evening we made popcorn and watched Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer!
How much more can I ask for on my birthday! I love my family!!!
