A special trip

In November we took a trip to Michigan. We were able to visit Emma's great-grandpa and her newest cousin.
We took the train and Emma loved walking up and down the aisles looking at everyone. Or rather having everyone looking at her!
And grandpa took her out on a tractor ride. She steered for a little bit but ultimately it put her to sleep.

First Ball Game

For Emma's friend's birthday they played a "baseball" game. Here she is talking a warmup "swing".
Does this look like a base runner?
Running the bases with daddy is so much fun!

Swimming

Emma and Daddy have been taking swimming lessons. I have been lucky enough to go with her a couple of times but I normally just go and watch and chat with some of the other moms.
Floating on her back like a starfish.
Emma likes to find me and give me a smile every now and then to let me know she is having a great time!
She is quite the little swimmer. She floats, splashes, blows bubbles, plays, goes down the slide and even goes under the water.

New things

A friend from Bible Study gave us this rocking horse. Emma loves it even though it's a bit too big for her.
Emma found a head band and figured out how to put it on all by herself. She wore it for over an hour and thought she was pretty special!
So special that even Ephous let her get close.

Trick or Treat!

For Halloween, Emma dressed up as a ladybug and helped hand out candy. We were also able to go to Grandma and Grandpa's for the Halloween hayride.
This is a sad little lady bug who does not like to walk on her own.
Now everything is alright.
Trick or Treat!

Carving time

This was so much fun. Emma loved the gooey inside, taking the lid off and of course, she loved eating it too!

Pumpkin time

Emma and I were out decorating the porch for fall/Halloween and I had to take some pictures. In the first picture she is pointing to the pumpkin. The second one, she is clapping for the pumpkin.. I'm not sure what we will do when the pumpkins go away. I guess I will have to get the Christmas decorations out. Yeah, right!

Farm Trip

One last trip to the farm this fall. This is her favourite sandbox. And the sand is still falling out of her shoes.
Not sure what this face is about, but it makes me laugh.
There's something about sitting on these tricycles! Once on.....don't take her off unless you have a distraction for her.
Emma and daddy blinded by the sun.

This is Emma's baby doll from Grandma. She loves kissing her and now has a bottle to feed to her too.

Play date

For our playgroup outing we went to a pumpkin farm. Emma will walk only if she has something to hold on to......not too sure about it still.
We've seen so many pumpkins this fall that she loves to point them out everywhere we go. At this place, I'm not sure what pumpkin she is pointing at!

Our little red wagon makes the day so much more fun!!!!

Thanksgiving

We spent (Canadian) Thanksgiving at the zoo. We just started getting into the fall weather and this day was almost 100 with the humidity. Needless to say we didn't stay too long......it was too hot for October.

More Fun

There are so many things to do at the pumpkin farm......

Bike riding......
Playing in the sandbox with the truck.....
Playing in the sandbox with rakes and shovels......
and a corn maze. They also have a petting zoo but mom stopped taking pictures at that point. We have visited this place a few times now and will probably go back again. We are loving the fall season!
