Zoo

We headed to the zoo on one of the nice days we had this month.

We have a new polar bear exhibit at the zoo, so we spend a lot of time watching them. They are always active when we see them, but not the one in the picture so much.

Jackson's favourite sea horse in the coral reef.
If you click on the last picture you can see there is never an uneventful day for us. Jackson is wearing this on his forehead. Ouch!

Swamp Fest 2

There were a few games that Jackson could enjoy. He likes anything that involves throwing.

Jackson reinvented the game of bowling. Stealing the pins and kicking the ball.

Trick or Treat

Here are the well anticipated Halloween pictures!
Jackson is showing you some of our pumpkins! He would have loved to do some smashing with them!
Emma, Jackson and Greg posing with our carved pumpkins.
Here is our little princess ($3.00 for a crown and scepter. we already had a beautiful dress) and Horton the Elephant ($10.00). I was quite happy about the inexpensive costumes! I originally had a bee costume for Emma that I found at a garage sale but that wasn't "pretty" enough for her.
Here we are out Trick or Treating. It was cold and tiring. Emma had more fun handing out the candy once we got home.

Turkey Hats

We already celebrated our Thanksgiving and made these wonderful turkey hats in honour of the holiday.
Emma is very focused on putting the faces together.
Here are some of our finished turkeys.
For Emma and Jackson's we attached a headband, making them a turkey hat!

Goats

While we were at the farm, the goats were excited to see us as long as we kept the leaves coming.
