Labor Day

Over Labor Day we visited some friends at a cottage. Here was the "catch" of the weekend.
It was actually nice enough for some beach time.
Snack time.
While in Michigan, Jackson would have nothing to do with this water toy. So some calmer water and Emma pushing seemed to do the trick.

Emma's Birthday

Here are a few pictures from Emma's birthday. Trying to catch up since her birthday was in August.

Jackson was enjoying playing with the wrapping paper.

Tractors!

While at my parents' over the summer, we had access to many tractors. There wasn't a day that Jackson didn't have to go sit on Grandpa's tractor.
Here is Emma with 2 of her cousins. Tye and Gracie.
This one is at the fair where Jackson was in tractor heaven!
Now, we do not see a tractor or Mighty Machine without a little scream. He thinks he has the right to sit on all of them!

Hats!

My mom pulled out all my Great Grandma's old hats and Emma had some fun with them! This was actually my Anne of Green Gables hat!
A birthday crown!
One of Grandma's classics!
And who wouldn't see such a gal riding a tractor!?!

Daddy's clippers

Jackson got his first hair cut with Greg's clippers.
Here are some of the emotions this experience brought on.
Once the snacks were gone, he got a little bored and frustrated.

Camping 3

Jackson and Benjamin hanging out at the beach.
Emma showing some personality.
Jackson and Benjamin. There are no words for these boys! They are going to have a life time of memories together!
Our camp site. I didn't think to take a picture until we started packing up. Since it didn't rain and the kids slept well, we will be camping next year too! We already have the campground picked out, and there will be no train whistles blowing every 20 minutes through the night!

Camping 2

Although it wasn't hot, we still played in the water a bit.
